Harry Potter and the names that mean the most to him

Harry Potter names his kids some weird things and we’re looking at exactly why he did that. Yes, that means I’m judging Albus.

The Harry Potter series is known for their names. Everyone has some important name and it goes with their character. When Harry had kids of his own, he named them after important men in his life. The problem? One was Albus Severus.

Now here’s the thing, that’s fine whatever. I don’t agree with it. But for Sirius to just get a middle name is outrageous to me. That’s his godfather, who took care of him and protected him, isn’t important enough to grant a full first name boggles my mind.

But beside that, both Albus and Severus lied to him and were not the best role models for Harry. So them to both get names in general is insane to me. Why no Remus? Why not Arthur and literally any other man who showed Harry the importance of what it means to be brave and be a man in this world?

It’s just like Rowling took the popular characters that people seemed to love and said “yeah, Harry would name is son after these two”. Which isn’t fair to every other man who had importance in Harry’s life. They’re always there to make sure he’s doing right by himself and those around him and it’s not cool that they don’t get recognition but Snape, who tormented Harry through most his schooling, does.

But maybe that’s just me and how I feel about Dumbledore and Snape but I don’t believe they should get the recognition they do.
