Taylor Swift’s Brother Austin Swift Makes Television Debut
By Kara Johnson
Taylor Swift’s amazing brother Austin Swift is an aspiring actor and you can see his television debut in CMT’s Still the King on July 25.
Mr. Swift has made his big screen debut with I.T. and Live By Night, and has scored his first major magazine profile. Now, Swift is making his first ever TV Show appearance with Billy Ray Cyrus.
Footage of Swift is available via ET, and it shows him working as the manager of the Bluebird Cafe, a historic place in country music history. The cafe is also where 90’s phenomenon (or should we say one-hit wonder) Vernon Brown (played by Cyrus) wants to play. But Swift has no intention of actually allowing this to happen. He shuts Brown down in a big way, and it’s quite entertaining to watch.
The aspiring actor has learned a lot from his sister, saying that she’s the one who’s motivated him in his now blossoming career. “Something I learned myself and learned through watching her is respect,” he said. “You just respect everyone’s time, everyone that you’re working with. They’re all there, it’s all their lives, and you need to put the work in to be worth that.”
It’ll be fun to watch Swift on television, and we are sure he and Cyrus work well together or not. They both are unlikely to ever work together in the future, but watching them on July 25 should be a real treat. You can catch the episode of Still The King featuring Austin Swift on CMT
