From Star Wars to the Supreme Court, Felicity Jones’ next project will see her become Ruth Bader Ginsburg in new “On the Basis of Sex” biopic.

To prove that internet meme culture can take the most obscure things and turn them into legacies, Notorious RBG’s comeuppance as a feminist icon over the past decade has earned itself both a book and a biopic, On the Basis of Sex.

After she became the second female supreme court justice after Sandra Day O’Connor in 1993, Ruth Bader Ginsburg spent many years as the singular women’s perspective on the Supreme Court. Though it wasn’t her favorite position (to be the only one), she advocated on behalf of women’s rights so fiercely that she became notorious for being so outspoken. On nearly everything.

In fact, she unapologetically called Donald Trump a “faker” with “no consistency.” Basically, this solidified her as one of the coolest feminist leaders of our time, with a rich background absolutely begging to reach mainstream audiences.

Now, to bring the trailblazing, undefinable woman to life, Felicity Jones will star was Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a new biopic from Focus Features. According to reports, Natalie Portman originally signed on to play, but I think Jones is a better choice anyway.

Whether you only compare Star Wars films or look at their past dramatic works, I feel like Jones brings more warmth to the screen. Plus, do we really need Natalie Portman to play Jackie Kennedy and RBG?

Admittedly, we don’t know much about Daniel Stiepleman’s script. But we can assume that they’ll be casting other female justices for the film, right? Even if for smaller roles, I think that’s part of the point.

Or at the very least, they’re going to need a Bill Clinton.

We don’t know a release date for the film yet, but it will start shooting in Montreal in September.
