Taylor Swift may be taking a break from the spotlight at the moment but according to a new report, her net worth hasn’t suffered.

Although Swift has engaged in just one performance in 2017, she can certainly afford to take some time off as she focuses on her upcoming music. After all, just hours ago, Swift was declared as the “Top Money Maker” of the past seven years.

“While Swift was notably absent from 2016’s list — and has taken a hiatus from the music scene in general as of late — she’s been a top 10 earner four times since 2010, three of those at number one,” Billboard magazine revealed on July 14.

“The country-turned-pop star also claims the highest dollar count of all artists who snagged number one over that time frame, taking home a staggering $73.5 million as the top Money Maker of 2015,” the source added.

Although Swift didn’t capture the top spot in 2017, she will likely reclaim the honor once her new album is released and she begins touring once again.

Who was the ‘Top Money Maker’ of the year?

Although the top money maker of the past year is Beyonce, who had raked in a whopping $62.1 million in total revenue, her last seven years of revenue doesn’t quite add up to that of Swift.

As for their net worths, Beyonce tops Swift by about $100 million. According to reports by Forbes magazine, Swift is worth an estimated $250 million dollars while Beyonce, who is married to rapper Jay-Z and recently gave birth to twins, is worth $350 million.
