Taylor Swift Put Dominic Sherwood On the Map

Although he’s a TV star now, Dominic Sherwood states he has Taylor Swift to thank for kickstarting his career.

The Shadowhunters star loves the pop star and even says that they keep in touch every once in awhile. “We haven’t spoken in a little while because she’s off taking over the world isn’t she,” Sherwood tells Confidential.

According to the British actor, Swift is exactly how she appears. “She’s really down to earth, nice, normal and a caring human being.” We have no doubt that he’s right. Sherwood and Swift became friends a couple of years before Swift asked him to be a part of her “Style” music video in support of her 5th studio album 1989. The video has since surpassed more than 500 million views.

Now, the 27-year old is the star in Freeform’s Shadowhunters and has made appearances in films such as Take Down and Vampire Academy, as well as a spot on the show Modern Family and a miniseries entitled Mayday. He’s a big star now, and it’s cool to see someone of his caliber thank Swift for helping him get to where he is today.
