Will the original Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast take on NYC?

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is coming to New York City but what does that mean for the original cast of the London production?

As of this current moment, all we know about the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is that it’s happening. We don’t know who is coming over or if any of the original cast will join the New York City production but we have hope.

So far, many speculate that Paul Thorney (Ron) will come with the production. Noma Dumezweni has also said she’d love to continue her work with Hermione over in the states. So we may have a reunited Noma and Paul in the United States version of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child but that may be it.

Many wish that Sam Clemmett and Anthony Boyle would also transfer are their chemistry as Albus and Scorpius has been praised. Especially with all the awards the two have received. And, from what we can tell, most the cast would love to come across the pond for the production!

All of it is just speculation but we do know that there was an American casting call for the show. Other than that, there has been no casting information given. Just that we know it’s coming in 2018.

Personally, I’d love to see Jamie Parker come over with the show as well. He was an amazing fit for Harry and getting to see the production as it was in London would truly be something special.  But will we get it? Only time will tell. But we can hope!
