Selena Gomez Discusses Taylor Swift’s New Relationship

Selena Gomez appeared on the Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits on Monday, June 5, and during her interview, she was asked about Taylor Swift and her new relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.

According to a new report, one of the show’s host questioned Gomez about her and The Weeknd’s possible double dates with the new couple and in turn, Gomez shot down the idea.

“I hang out with my new person a lot!” Gomez explained, according to a report by Hollywood Life.

Selena Gomez is happy if Taylor Swift is happy

Although Swift and Gomez haven’t been seen together recently, there is no bad blood between them.

“No, honestly, if my friends are happy, that makes me happy,” Gomez explained. “I’m super stoked, too.”

Swift and Gomez have been close friends for years and in early 2016, they attended the Grammy Awards together in Los Angeles. As fans may recall, Swift and Gomez walked the red carpet together and sat together during the show.

While Gomez has been fairly silent in regard to her new romance with The Weeknd in the months since the couple went public in Santa Monica, California, the singer opened up about the dynamic between them during her interview and revealed that it has been nice traveling with the singer and supporting him as he tends to his tour.

“It’s been a good time. I love being supportive and being there and having somebody’s back,” she explained. “I haven’t had that feeling in a while.”
