21. She can talk to dinosaurs
So, Wonder Woman can speak all languages. She’s incredibly strong, and fast, and intelligent. Diana is, all told, one of the most formidable superheroes of any category in the DC Comics universe and beyond.
Also, superheroes in any longstanding comics property are bound to get into some weird situations. After all, Wonder Woman herself has been around as a character for nearly 75 years. You can only save plain old planet Earth so many times before readers get bored. Hence, all the increasingly labyrinthine plots about dimensions and gods and reboots and so on. With all of that in mind, are you entirely surprised that she can talk to dinosaurs?
Actually, Wonder Woman’s specific power here has to do with empathy. So, she technically can’t “speak” with dinosaurs or other animals like Squirrel Girl can. However, she can make friends with animals and get them on her side. It’s pretty useful when you’re traveling through another dimension full of dinos.
Wonder Woman has yet another Greek god to thank for this ability. This time around, it’s Artemis (the god, not the 1990s replacement Wonder Woman), goddess of the hunt. It’s also a generally nice skill to have. At one point, Wonder Woman was even shown hanging out with some polar bears because it just sounded like a nice thing to do.
