Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik released “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” earlier this year as part of the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack and now, months later, fans are learning of a secret message hidden within the track.

According to a new report, Swift managed to work in her love of the number “13” into the song’s lyrics. However, she didn’t do so in an obvious sense. Instead, she simply sang, “Until you come back home,” 13 times.

At the end of last month, Buzzfeed shared a report with readers that revealed Swift sang the line three times in the beginning of the song, five times in the middle of the song and then five more times towards the end, the final of which was in tune with Malik.

Taylor Swift has personal ties to Zayn Malik

Swift and Malik have not only teamed up for one of the most popular songs of the year, they’ve also joined forces as friends due to their relationships with Gigi Hadid. As fans may recall, Hadid began dating Malik in late 2015 after splitting from Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas earlier this year.

Could Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik go on tour together?

“Once [Taylor Swift] comes back with a new album and starts touring again, Zayn would love to join her so they can perform ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ every night,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “He is obviously familiar with huge tours from his One Direction days and would like to play stadiums again. He actually surprisingly misses the big crowds.”

“You’d think he would be altered by his anxiety, but it is actually more normal for him to deal with huge crowds over intimate settings. He can tune it out better,” the source added.
