Jill Munroe, Kelly Garrett, and Sabrina Duncan – Charlie’s Angels
There’s a reason that every teenage boy had a poster of Farrah Fawcett on his bedroom wall. She was one third of the ’70s crime fighting team we know as Charlie’s Angels. When they weren’t catching bad guys and solving mysteries, they were looking gorgeous and fly in all their ’70s glory.
These women epitomized sexy, cool, and badassery, and they were always at the height of fashion when they did anything. With wide collars, bell bottoms, and more polyester than you can imagine, the Angels made their mark on the American pop culture in more than just their show.
The three women are recent graduates of the Police Academy, yet despite proving their worth as police officers, they were relegated to the jobs for women: meter maid, desk worker, and crossing guard. Seeing their potential as private investigators, the Charlie Townsend Agency scooped them up to solve mysteries for money.
While teenage boys were posting the Angels on their walls, young women were rushing out to their local malls to find outfits that will make them look like their favorite PI. Whether you were a Sabrina, a Jill, or a Kelly, you wanted to look your very angel best.
