Supergirl returns this week with “Star-Crossed,” the episode before the musical showdown. Here’s the synopsis of episode 16 of season 2.
Supergirl is back and we’re finally finding out a secret that Mon-El has been keeping from everyone. Mon-El: Prince of Daxam!? Okay, but we knew something like that was coming so it’s really not that much of a shocker.
And you can tell that this episode is prefacing Tuesday’s musical rendition of The Flash as the trailer has hints of some pretty cool tunes. Check out the full trailer:
The full synopsis of this episode can be found here:
"“A new villain (guest star Teri Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) on high alert. Meanwhile, Winn’s (Jeremy Jordan) girlfriend, Lyra (guest star Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister (Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl. John Medlen directed the episode written by Katie Rose Rogers & Jess Kardos (#216). Original airdate 3/20/2017.”"
The Music Meister is stirring up trouble in National City. So how will Supergirl and The Flash get into crossing over next week? We’ll have to wait and see. But there’s going to be singing, and a lot of it, so I can wait as long as they need me to. It seems as though Winn is going to have a pretty heavy role in “Star-Crossed” as well, which will then lead him into The Flash, too.
And here’s a little teaser from Tuesday’s The Flash episode:
Melissa Benoist singing!? Does it get any better than that? I think not.
