Of course my mom watches Hawaii Five-O because like I said before, she’s in her sixties. And I’m also learning that maybe she has a thing for men from Australia. But Alex O’Loughlin, the beautiful man with the lovely accent, is part of the reason I want to start watching this show now.

That and I love long sweeping shots of Hawaii. Which is why I watched every episode of LOST. But with Alex O’Loughling, he might be prettier than Hawaii itself. No really, this man was crafted out of some marble for us mere mortals to enjoy.

So of course my mother suggested that everyone love him! What’s not to love? A beautiful buff man with an Australian accent who kicks ass on our television sets week after week? It’s like a dream come true in the form of a hot dude.

She didn’t have much to say about him, just called him “that hot guy from Hawaii Five-O and not James Caan’s son”. So that left us with Daniel Dae-Kim (read on) and Alex O’Loughlin. Lucky for us, she meant the both of them but for this moment, let’s just appreciate my mother’s amazing taste once more and all hail the beautiful god that is Alex O’Loughlin.
