In the JK Rowling vs Piers Morgan war, the Harry Potter creator just delivered the final blow to the television host, and she had a little help!

The Guardian is reporting that the JK Rowling vs Piers Morgan battle has been raging since this past Sunday, when the Harry Potter creatrix remarked that she rather enjoyed watching the former CNN talking head getting told to “f**k off” on national television. “[It] was exactly as satisfying as I’d imagined,” she wrote.

Since then, the two have been exchanging verbal spars and barbs. Piers accused JK of being “superior, dismissive, [and] arrogant.” JK, meanwhile, pointed out that Piers was still butt-hurt about her success, and called him a “celebrity toady” for good measure.

But the JK Rowling vs Piers Morgan battle may have finally come to an end, especially now that JK has used Piers’ own words against him.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, and Rowling sent a shoutout to the person who wrote a wonderful review of her.

Without missing a beat, Piers pounced on JK.

There was just one problem: it was Piers Morgan himself who wrote those beautiful words about JK Rowling. Whoops!

Piers later tried to play it off by saying that “he knew what she meant,” but the damage had already been done.
