The 2017 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony will honor the best and brightest musical talent. Nominees are eligible for induction 25 years after their first recording debuts on the market. The Class of 2017 will honor Pearl Jam, ELO, Joan Baez, Tupac Shakur, Journey, and Yes. In addition, Nile Rodgers will be honored with an Award for Musical Excellence.

It’s important to note that while the 2017 Rock And Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will air on HBO on Saturday, April 29th, at 8:00 p.m. EST, the actual ceremony will take place on Friday, April 7th, at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY. This will be the third time that the Hall hosts the ceremony in the new, hot Brooklyn landmark. The induction ceremony will also be broadcast on SiriusXM satellite radio.

After their eligibility is determined, inductees are determined by an aggregate vote that tallies both the fans votes and the votes of the Hall’s board of trustees. Four of the inductees were winners of the fans’ ballot — Pearl Jam, ELO, Yes, and Journey.
