With the 59th Annual Grammy Awards upon us, everyone thinks they know who’s taking home the award. We have our final 2017 Grammy predictions here.

The Grammys are thought to be music’s biggest night of the year. Performing this year are superstars John Legend, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood and Metallica. We also have some girl power performances from Katy Perry, Adele, and mother with three hearts, Beyoncé. There are even reports of a tribute to George Michael and Prince. All of the news is shaping up to be a memorable Grammy night!

The host of the Late, Late Show, James Corden will take over host duties for the Grammys. The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. CBS will carry the live broadcast Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Grammys can make a once obscure music artist into a household name. Just ask surprise Grammy winners Esperanza Spalding, Bon Iver, and Arcade Fire. As expected, Beyoncé leads the way for most Grammy nomination this year with nine. Not too far behind is Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West and Chance the Raper with eight nominations each.

The Recording Academy decided to make some changes this year on who’s eligible to win a Grammy. This year, they included recordings released solely through streaming services. The new expansion opens a new avenue for an artist who decides to self-publishing their music.

Your guess is as good as ours on who’s going to take the gramophone home but it’s fun to speculate. This year, the Grammys are female just like our the future, and I will tell you why!
