Harry Potter and the Legacy it Continues to Uphold in 2017

The Harry Potter series has done a lot for its fans but the legacy that the books and film have taught us continues to shine through.

The legacy of the Harry Potter series is something that will live on long past the original generation who grew up with it and even further than that. And it isn’t because these books will be taught in schools (we’ve learned that the hard way) but rather that parents will continue to share the stories with their children.

For the first Harry Potter generation, there was nothing more exciting than going to a midnight release of the books or going to the premiere of the newest movie. It was what we grew up doing and what we loved.

But with the series having ended, many thought the hype would die down. Clearly that is not the case. Years have passed and here we still are, frantically looking for a new fan theory or news from J.K Rowling.

And with new works from the Harry Potter verse coming out, it is just incredible to see how much this fandom loves these books and the world that J.K Rowling created. To be honest, I do not think there will be anything quite like Harry Potter for quite some time.

No book series has quite defined a generation like this one has and because of that, it will always remain dear to our hearts. We love Harry, Hermione, Ron, and their friends and families more than anything in this world. And for good reason. They taught us how to be the best person we can be.

The Harry Potter legacy will live on long past the rest of us but at least we got to experience. That’s part of the magic after all.
