And in a lot of people’s case what they express as a child is not going to change when they hit puberty…. This writer, photographer, LGBT activist, and TV host recently released his memoir “Darling Days” where he discusses his early life with his parents. He claims they were irresponsible and neglectful at times but that always accepted who he was. He identified as a boy for 8 years. Then at 14 chose to identify as a girl again. Now he identifies as a transgender man and he’s as open as a book about it.
