The Mr. Clean Super Bowl Ad is Surprisingly Dirty and a Little Hot

Mr. Clean may be able to get out those tough stains, but he’s also got some pretty sweet dance moves. Check them out in this Super Bowl ad!

Yes, it’s Super Bowl time. If you don’t like football, that’s okay. Then, it’s really a time for great commercials and new trailers. Because it’s expensive to buy airtime for one of the biggest events of the year, companies and products really have to bring their A game to get their money’s worth. Additionally, the Super Bowl commercials of years past took some of the top spots on our list of Best Commercials, so we don’t expect this year to be any different.

While we love the funny ones, Budweiser already debuted a slightly more political and endearing one about immigration. Plus, Kia (one of the lesser car manufacturers on the market) unveiled their Melissa McCarthy spot that included a surprising amount of laughs and CGI.

Yet, their CGI pales in comparison to the sweet moves of Mr. Clean in this “Cleaner of Your Dreams” ad:

As a lovely, domesticated woman cleans her house, she fantasizes about the true King of Clean. He appears in the middle of her kitchen reverie with some slick scrubs, bumps, grinds, and mops. Proctor and Gamble seem to have outdone themselves with Mr. Clean animation until “Sara” stops dreaming and her actual partner appears. According to the commercial: “You gotta love a man who cleans.”

I give Mr. Clean props for going there and being honest about what women really want — of course, that’s after equal rights and whatnot. Obviously.
