Many of us were fortunate to grow up learning the lessons of Harry Potter. Universal Orlando Resorts shares a Potterhead family’s story about their most memorable vacation to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
To some of us, Harry Potter means more than words can articulate. This wonderful series is something people base their lives around, which could mean a business venture, or finding one’s self. Universal Orlando Resorts showcased one family who shared their story about what exactly the Harry Potter series means to them, and how the Wizarding World of Harry Potter made for a perfect stop on their life’s journey.

The video tells the story of the Haas family. Mom Jennifer and Dad Joe are parents to four wonderful kids, Ethan, Liam, Lucie, and Emmett. Their oldest, 9-year-old Ethan, has been immersed in Harry Potter since he was in kindergarten. Reading the relatable stories and characters created by J.K. Rowling helped Ethan overcome some of his shyness and isolation from his classmates. “I read how Harry made friends, and then I did stuff that Harry did, and I made friends,” Ethan says in this video.
Last summer, s a special present, Jennifer and Joe decided to take the whole family to check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resorts. The trip couldn’t have been more perfect for this Potterhead family. They loved every little detail going into Diagon Alley, where no magical stone is left unturned, and the beauty of Hogwarts castle, just a train stop away.
The Haas family enjoyed their time immensely, and as Jennifer says, it’s a vacation the family will be talking about for years to come.
