The magic of Harry Potter continues worldwide as actors James and Oliver Phelps get ready to attend Harry Potter: The Exhibition’s stop in the Netherlands.
Since its inception in 2009 at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, Harry Potter: The Exhibition has attracted over 4 million people worldwide. The next stop in the global tour is the Netherlands. And who’s to host it? None other than James and Oliver Phelps, aka the Weasley twins, will be there to kick it off!
Check out the official announcement from our friends at SnitchSeeker.com below.
The cheeky twins we all know and love will be there first-hand to welcome guests to the Exhibition on February 11th. The 1,500-square foot hall in Utrecht will feature all sorts of props, costumes, and cast tales from the Harry Potter sets.
I’ve been to the one in New York City, and from me to you, this isn’t one to miss. What’s fun about this experience is how immersive it is. The hosts, (in this case, James and Oliver Phelps) greet you right at the gate and sort you into your own Hogwarts House. As you’re led into the Exhibition, you’re given free reign to walk at your own pace from room to room. You get to see authentic costumes our favorite actors wore in the films and the magical props they used.
Each room has its own theme. From the Gryffindor common room, to the Potions classes in the Greenhouses, and even the spooky Forbidden Forest. Finally, guests can enjoy a few fun interactive bits. You can try your luck at tossing a Quaffle through a Quidditch ring, or sit in Hagrid’s big, comfy chair in a recreated hut.
