Donald Trump is making everyone angry, even our favorite author J.K Rowling! After his most recent Twitter outburst, no one is holding back.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Rowling joined in in a twitter backlash with authors against Donald Trump. It wasn’t the first time the Harry Potter author fired off about the President elect. Time and time again she has called out his outbursts and complained about Trump.
Many fans have expressed their connection of Trump to Lord Voldemort himself while other fans, those who supported him, do not appreciate the authors commentary on American politics. But maybe it is just because she’s right? As someone who shares her political views, it is easy for me to love Rowling’s commentary. If you’re not a fan of the liberal idea of America, you might not feel the same.
But recently, Rowling fired back with her best comment yet. When Trump got angry about some ‘fake news’ he thought was being released, he tweeted about it in all caps. J.K Rowling had this to say:

The best part about the entire argument against Rowling or using her series to talk about the political climate of America, is that the entirety of the Harry Potter series is about politics. That’s like going to see Jackie and saying “please leave politics out of it”.
You can’t leave politics out of a series built on politics. And you can’t tell someone they can’t make those connections. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, just as you are entitled to not like them.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Rowling’s work has taught us all how to deal with the evil of the world. So maybe we should start applying that to real life evil leader Trump and taking this seriously.
