11. The Trio Makes Polyjuice Potion
Harry, Ron, and Hermione spend all of the Christmas break making Polyjuice potion in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. While we don’t necessarily relate that back to Christmas in the sense of “this is a Christmas movie”, it does show us the importance of friendship and spending the holidays with those you love.
The trio has work to do, so they decide to stay at Hogwarts and try and create the potion. While they have the opportunity to work undisturbed, the three spend the entire holiday creating it. There isn’t anything particularly special about the story. It is just amazing seeing how much these three love each other and will do whatever for one another.
In the movie, we are still setting up their friendships with one another. Yes, we know they are friends from Sorcerer’s Stone, but Chamber of Secrets really helps us nail down what they mean to each other. They would do whatever the other ones ask.
While they are making the Polyjuice potion, the three all do what they do best to help out and it just shows the dynamic between the trio. That and it is just a nice thing to see. The three of them have one another and it is amazing.
