Tina Fey will be my ultimate girl crush, always and forever. Now especially since she just informed the world that she’d be serving us a Mean Girls musical— something I’ve basically been waiting for since Mean Girls came out in the 2000s on the big screens. This woman is pretty much my hero. Her humor, her personality, her ability to look perfect in any movie she’s ever been in… It’s too much! It’s not fair to us normal folk. But we’ll let it slide until she gives us that Mean Girls musical.

And it would be wrong to include Tine Fey without Amy Poehler. These two are the comedic duo this year could really use a lot more of. Not only has Poehler made a lasting impact on both Parks and Rec and SNL, she also started Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls which is dedicated to bettering the lives of young people. It’s tough to find your place or to fit in at a young age so Poehler is creating something to change that. This platform allows people to be their “weird and wonderful selves.” Sounds great- when can I join in the fun?
