41. Jyn Erso’s Imperial Disguise

Like Rey’s Ahch-To outfit, this one gets in on potential more than anything else. However, it already has a POP! figure, so there you are.

Anyway, Jyn Erso serves as our main protagonist in Rogue One when it comes out later this year. She spends a not-insignificant amount of time dressed as an Imperial, since her whole goal is to steal the plans to the Death Star. It suits her, though; Jyn doesn’t look like she’d be in home in the natural colors many Star Wars protagonists tend to favor.

“I rebel” really says it all, doesn’t it? So why wouldn’t she look really good in black?

Like many Imperial outfits, it has plenty of shine and sheen to it. In fact, it’s quite similar to TIE pilots’ black and shiny armor. This outfit also includes the high collar that most officers wear. As of this writing, it’s unclear what exactly she’s supposed to be, however: a pilot? An officer? Imperial Intelligence?

We see her wearing a helmet and concealing most of her face in the movie, while also wearing this outfit. Meanwhile, Cassian Andor is dressed more like Imperial officers that we recognize.
