Best best: Ducks-Sharks and dealer’s choice

It’s a late night game, but the Ducks-Sharks game does represent a battle. Last season, three Pacific-division teams qualified for the playoffs, though the Ducks and Sharks didn’t meet thanks to the Ducks losing to Nashville. Although the Ducks haven’t started off the season particularly well, they may very well start picking things up sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, the Sharks are home once more and hoping to score some points on home turf.

For something to occupy your time until 10 p.m. ET, take your pick, really. Wild-Bruins doesn’t seem like a bad idea, and Sabres-Flyers could also end up being interesting, with the Sabres looking to get the first home win of the season.
