1. Immortan Joe

Mad Max: Fury Road took the world by storm so it’s no surprise that there was many who were decked out in their best cosplay to honor the film. The best of them though? A female Immortan Joe. Played in the movie by Hugh Keays-Byrne, he came back to reprise his role for Mad Max: Fury Road.

Colonel Joe Moore (or Immortan Joe) is the main antagonist of Mad Max: Fury Road. A veteran of the Oil wars, Joe eventually became something of a god and created the Citadel. Usually described as a man with a stock build and long white hair and blue eyes, it’s absolutely amazing to see a woman portraying him in cosplay.

The Mad Max: Fury Road feminist storyline has touched many and to see a woman demanding such power and beauty as a cosplayer portraying the male antagonist, it’s something else. It’s absolutely breathtaking.
