Why Joanne? That’s her middle name. Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. It’s also the name of her late aunt, Joanne, who died at the age of 19 from Lupus.
Collaborators include Mark Ronson (musician/DJ: “Uptown Funk”), Father John Misty (singer/songwriter: “I Love You Honeybear”), Florence Welch (of Florence and The Machine), Josh Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age), Beck (singer/songwriter: “Wow”), and Hillary Lindsey (songwriter: “Jesus Take The Wheel”, “Girl Crush”)

Everyone, brace yourselves. This album could be EVERYTHING. Why? This is Gaga’s rebirth into the music industry, and she has said in the interview with Zane, that this album has been healing for her. The release date will be a day of healing for her and her family. Joanne, a piece of her in more than one way, will help guide her back to her own truth.
These are not the meat dress days. This is Stefani before she became Gaga- this is a slice of her soul, and it could be everything.
I. Can. Not. Wait.
