2. Blacklist (NBC)

Premiere Date: September 22nd

The critically acclaimed television is coming back for its fourth season and still has questions that fans need to be answered. The season three finale left us reeling with the fact Elizabeth Keen is not dead. Her entire death was staged by Mr. Kaplan to save Elizabeth and her baby from Reddington’s world. Tom Keen was obviously in on the plan from early on because he and baby Agnes eventually evade Reddington’s security detail to jump on a plane to Cuba to meet up with an alive Elizabeth Keen. Reddington ultimately figures out his number two henchman, Mr. Kaplan was the one who setup Tom’s and Agnes’s escape into motion and faked Elizabeth death. To say he was upset is an understatement of the year.

He eventually makes his way to Cuba to find the Keens. Unfortunately for him, he is too late. The Cuban villa has been ransacked and is empty. Someone kidnapped the Keens, and he has no idea what to do next. One lingering question since season one has been answered. Reddington is not, in fact, Elizabeth’s father. Her father is Konstantin Rostov or better know as season three big bad guy, Alexander Kirk. The plot now thickens. Why did he try to kill his daughter and why has he now decided to kidnap her family? Season four is guaranteed to be a wild ride you can not miss.

Blacklist will have a spin-off show later this fall called The Blacklist: Redemption. The show will star Ryan Eggold as Tom Keen and Famke Janssen as Scottie Hargrave. It is still unknown if Ryan Eggold will be pulling double duty of both shows.
