We all agree that the book is always better than the film, so here are the books you should read before their fall movie releases.

Adapting books for the big screen is no surprise, it has been happening for almost as long as the movie industry has been around, all the way back to the era of silent films and this fall is no exception. It’s exciting to see our favorite books turned into movies because it is a chance to see the world we previously only imagined in our heads. Hearing the announcement of the next big adaptation always causes a mix of nervousness and excitement over whether or not the studio will get it just right. Book fans love nothing more than to point out the mistakes and missing parts to non-readers (just ask any Game of Thrones book fans).

Looks like this fall will be no exception as we are offered up another wide array of films based off of works of literature. 2016 brings a mix of stories that ranges from real life people overcoming adversity to those of fantasy involving monsters, fantastical beasts, and peculiar children.

We already did a list of 5 books to read this fall, but here is the list of books that are coming to a theater near you. Think of it as a guide so you can hold the title of smug book reader among your friends (or just so you can compare and contrast them for your own enjoyment).
