Even viral tracks can get lost in the shuffle of online music overload these days. So here’s 10 you may have missed.

Music is said to be an international language; a thing that every person can connect with, regardless of their situation in life. It can also be elusive. And with so many people trying to make their voices (or instruments) heard these days, it can be easy to miss something great. YouTube is partially to thank for that. Many household names became huge stars from humble beginnings as tweenies with a shaky-cam, singing their hearts out to an unknown audience. (I won’t name any names… rhymes with Rustin Weiber.) Even big-time record label signed artists have a hard time competing with those people.

In fact, most of those record label signed artists are contributing to the YouTube phenomenon. Some may even say that a modern traditional musician can’t truly compete without a strong online presence.

So this got me thinking… With this elusive, online-driven age of music, are there some out-of-this-world tracks- viral, even- that could be widely missed? The answer is a resounding ‘duh’, and I’m going to point out 10 of my faves- in chronological order.
