Chris Craziness: March Madness Round of 64: Chris Jericho vs. Chris Daughtry

Technically speaking, these two Chrises are both musicians, but one’s more known for wrestling. Who will win in this round of Chris Craziness?

Today in Chris Craziness, the Round of 64 continues. Already, we’ve had eight Chrises defeated by your votes, and four more will survive today’s gauntlet. Yesterday’s votes saw Chris Kirkpatrick, Kris Kristofferson, Christine McVie, and Christopher Nolan win and advance to the Round of 32.

For those unfamiliar with the ways of Chris Craziness, Culturess has decided to do their own round of March Madness, rounding up Chrises from the world of celebrity and asking you to vote your favorites through. Now, let’s get to this match!

Round 3

Chris Jericho (Wrestler)

Although we list Chris Jericho primarily as a wrestler, there’s actually a reason he attended some Grammy events like the one he’s pictured in above. As his official website notes, he also sings. No, seriously. He’s in a band named Fozzy. The band, in fact, has a seventh album in the works.

But let’s face it, he’s probably better known for his time in the WWE. Not for nothing is that page on his site long and detailed. He’s still wrestling, in fact, though not as often as he once did, and he actually completed a match at Wrestlemania 32.

Beyond that, he has his own podcast, Talk is Jericho, and has also written several books. Will that be enough for him to surpass this opponent, though, or will Jericho fall to the likes of …

Chris Daughtry (Musician)

Chris Daughtry has been in the music scene since season 5 of American Idol famously knocked him out of the competition in fourth place. That was 2006. It’s now 2017, and Daughtry, as part of the band that bears his last name, has not stopped releasing music. They even have a greatest hits so far album!

Also, Daughtry is a massive comics fan. Not only does he list his Batman fandom as part of his biography on Instagram, he’s actually drawn variant covers. Recently, he posted a look at his Youngblood cover. He’s also showed off some work on Spider-Man this year. Last year, he actually had a variant cover for Batman #50. Pretty good for a rock artist, but will that be enough to take down Chris Jericho? Time and your votes will tell.

Now vote!

The only way to see one of these Chrises advance is to vote for him. Results will come out tomorrow.
