A mother dressed her baby as Eleven from ‘Stranger Things’ and Jon Snow

An LA-based photographer dressed up her daughter during nap time and the results are adorable.

Let’s cut to the chase: most kids are only useful for a limited number of things. As infants, it’s my understanding that their primary functions are pooping and sleeping. The luckiest parents are the ones who get to use the latter for their own amusement.

Or in this case, for the enjoyment of the internet.

LA-based photographer Laura Izumikawa re-purposed nap time as photo-op time. She dressed up her subject/daughter, Joey Marie Choi, as various pop culture characters and posted the photos to Instagram. From Stranger Things to Game of Thrones and Dragon Ball Z, there’s a little something for everyone. Most of the photos are also accompanied with behind-the-scenes videos, but I have chosen some of my favorites for you to check out below.

They’re in order from “most adorable” to “so cute it’s gross”:

Our first piece is a dramatic reinterpretation of a Game of Thrones character. Yes, Joey is technically dressed as Night’s Watch Jon Snow, but her face is more post-Ollie’s betrayal Jon Snow. Extra points for the caption, “ps. Zigzag Rickon!”

Next, we have a Han Solo doppelganger, complete with pal, Chewie. Do we think Chewbacca and Joey’s hair were purposefully styled in the same fashion or is that just coincidence?

Here is Charlize Theron’s stunt double on Mad Max: Fury Road. In the future, all prosthetics will be made of foil. Well, at least the ones for movies that go on to win six Academy Awards.

Which came first, the baby or the red wig? Don’t worry, Joey, Ariel wasn’t so good with the words either. You’ll get there eventually.

The red wig makes another appearance for what is my favorite photo of the series because this baby’s face is my face. I feel your pain, Misty. Ash never did get you that new bike, did he?

At four-months-old, “Kame-ha-me-ha!” is about the only thing you can say.

If you haven’t seen Stranger Things yet, you’re missing out. The show blew me away but not as much as this baby dressed as Eleven. She even has waffles and a gummy bloody nose. It’s amazing.

In a separate interview with The Huffington Post, Izumikawa said, “Because Joey slept so deeply, I thought it’d be fun adding little props on her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents. It was a way to memorialize her growth and little milestones.”

Furthermore, the photographer also hopes that Joey will look back on these photos fondly. Since beginning the series, Izumikawa’s follower count has grown to more than 83,000. With this much creativity and cuteness, the number will only keep growing.

Of course, by the time Joey is old enough to say, “That’s enough, mom,” she’ll also be old enough to appreciate a high follower count and come up with some puns of her own.
